WIMS> WIMS Protocol Draft Posted - WG Last Call

The WIMS protocol draft, updated to the comments in the 19 October call has been posted in clean and rev forms, *.doc and *.pdf formats. Considering the disruption of the face to face meeting this week and the Thanksgiving Holiday, the draft will be open to comments until 2 December. Please submit comments, questions and suggestions to the WIMS list.

The first comment has already been submitted; that is, to acquire and reference an assigned TCP/IP port number for WIMS traffic. Ira has submitted a form to IANA requesting this assignment.
