RESEND: IPP> ADM - Agenda and .zip files for IPP WG meeting, Tamp a, March 7-8, 2001

From: Hastings, Tom N (hastings@cp10.es.xerox.com)
Date: Sat Mar 03 2001 - 12:59:38 EST

  • Next message: Hastings, Tom N: "IPP> DRV - IPP Printer Installation Extension document down-loaded"

I moved the four documents for reference that are not on the agenda into 2
separate .zip files. This greatly reduces the size of the 2 .zip files on
the agenda. No other changes were made, so if you already copied the bigger
.zip files there is no need to re-copy these.

I've down loaded the .doc and .pdf files that will be on the agenda at:

       ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/meeting-010307/pdf-010307.zip 447 Kbytes
    (was 1.3M)
       ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/meeting-010307/doc-010307.zip 252 Kbytes
    (was 700)

No one will be bringing hardcopy of the documents. There are 11 documents
on the agenda, counting the agenda, itself. I've numbered the documents in
order on the agenda and put the name prefix on the file names in the .zip
file, so it should be easy to find each file.

I've also included several unnumbered documents for reference (RFC2910,
    RFC2911, the
Notification spec, and the Implementer's Guide) in separate .zip files:

       ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/meeting-010307/pdf-not-on-agenda.zip 940
       ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/ipp/meeting-010307/doc-not-on-agenda.zip 438

Here is the agenda at well:

Agenda: IEEE-ISTO IPP WG Meeting in Florida, March 7-8, 2001
      File: Agenda-IEEE-ISTO-IPP-WG-Meeting-FL-010307.doc

Please see the proposed agenda topics and document references for our
upcoming meeting in Florida. We will discuss the exact order and the time
allocation for these points at the beginning of the meeting.

    Agenda priorities:
    A. Order and approval of the agenda
    B. Status of documents not otherwise on the agenda
    C. Final voting process to become PWG standards
    D. Issues from the October 17-20 bake-off in Boston
    E. IPP Printer Installation Extension
    F. The 'ipp', 'indp', and 'ippget' URL schemes
    G. Have the IPP documents met the IPP Goals?
    H. Registering Print Document Formats as MIME media types
    I. PWG Media Size Name project

Nothing has been scheduled for Wednesday or Thursday evening.

All of the .pdf and .doc files corresponding to the numbered documents in
the Detailed Agenda have been copied to two separate zip files:

For those files whose revision marks are limited, only the -rev.doc and
-ref.pdf files have been included. For those with many changes, both the
version with revisions and without revisions have been included in the .zip

The documents are given below in their usual new_XXX places, since the URL
is shorter. Names in parentheses indicate discussion leader for the

    published in
a standard track RFC. A new I-D has been written for 'ipp' URL, but
    we've just
added the material to the 'indp' and 'ippget' I-Ds, to reduce the no. of
