    Hi Raj,

By 'SIP' do you mean the IETF Session Initiation Protocol (RFC 2543)?

I'm confused. Why would you want to try to run SIP over IPP (which
itself only runs over HTTP over TCP)?

    Cheers,

    Hello,

Can we use SIP on top of IPP for network printing. SIP already has support
for controlling network appliances. So, considering the printer also is a
Network Device, can we not use SIP for network printing ?

    Regards,
    Raj
