Just in case you missed it, Peter sent out a notice on the updated usage counter information. This is the subject of item A in the agenda for tomorrow. Since the addition of these usage elements will reflect in a printer MIB augmentation as well as in the WBMM schema, and since they are a start in dealing with MFP aspects such as scanning, I strongly urge that persons having in interest in printer and MFP management participate in the call to offer their views.
The reintroduction of "Resources", now in a management context in Ira's proposed schema, should also jog some old thoughts loose.
The changes have been made to the usage counters table per our last WBMM meeting. The summary of the changes is below. The pdf version containing revision marks is available at <ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/wbmm/white/PWG-Usage-Counters-Table-0.02.pdf>
The clean version (v0.03) that has been sorted based on the new names is available at <ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/wbmm/white/PWG-Usage-Counters-Table-0.03.pdf> This will be the version used in the next review of the table.
The next WBMM conference call will be on Wednesday 14 January from 12PM to 1PM EST.
