Overview: This page contains background information about the 1394 Printer Working Group effort. |

Late in 1996, various working groups began discussions on how to best
develop a printing solution which would provide traditional printing
applications and enable new architectural opportunities.
The 1394 PWG is chartered by the PWG and is currently investigating printing issues on the IEEE Std. 1394-1995 serial bus. Participation in 1394 PWG is voluntary and all members divide the meeting costs. Our current schedule is to meet within the same weeks as the other PWG working groups. |
